Middle Georgia is shaping the future of agriculture. On May 1st–2nd, agriculture stakeholders gathered in Perry for the 2nd Annual Integrative Precision Agriculture Conference, hosted by UGA’s Institute for Integrative Precision Agriculture (IIPA) and the new UGA Grand Farm in Perry.

Middle Georgia Innovation Corridor (MGIC) Executive Director Dr. Joe Richardson was on site to explore how emerging technologies like robotics and data-driven tools transform farming. UGA Grand Farm will be a hub for research, education, and sustainability for Georgia and the Southeast.
This is just the start of an exciting new agricultural innovation effort in Middle Georgia, and we will provide more in-depth info on UGA Grand Farm in June.
